(Folks like him never really die; they live on in the lives and footprints of those they touched... all these pieces are spread all over, loved and respected by people who "get it." I can't tell you all how honored I feel to have seen some of these in their rough stages, and to know some of the later ones included some scrap woods from Birdsong... I'd put aside "Johnny boxes" of interesting small wood trimmings from the guitar making process and he'd do his magic with them. Unbelievable...)
