(It wouldn't be right to have this posthumous showing of Uncle Johnny Kirtland's work without a whole page of little oil lamps. He loved these, and every one he ever made got snapped up... folks would hold one in their hands with their eyes closed and say "This is the one", want to know about the piece of wood, what it was, where it came from. Most are gin-u-wine Hill Country Cedar, a few were Oak and others I'm sure... the 5th one is Persimmon. Again, these are all gone onto their next chapter like the hands that made them, this is just a collection of photos. My hope on Johnny's behalf is they inspire you to do something beautiful... perhaps in honor of your teacher.)
