We took the Cortobass and swapped in two humbucking soapbar pickups in a “J-bass” like arrangement. So you get all of the easy playing balanced ergonomics of a Birdsong, a fantastic “Stronger, fuller J” bass palette of tones, and even a warm almost “P” from the neck pickup. The bridge pickup solo is MUCH fuller than a single J, and we voice our tone control to be useable - it works great with the bridge pickup on this bass!
