Black walnut and ebony, beautiful Macassar ebony fretboard, ebony dust fill in natural wild wood character with black hardware. Spec’d to celebrate Birdsong’s 22nd Anniversary as a company, 1 of 1 build with special XXII headstock.
About the Fusion bass
The 3rd Birdsong model and founder/designer Scott’s favorite. Big chocolatey tone but WITH clarity, great for jazz or blues or backed off to accompany acoustic music. Turned up, it’ll rock BIG too - a Fusion was the first Birdsong on TV, as played by Tommy of My Morning Jacket. More info here on the Fusion page.
